LA-based artist Matt Gondek will open Control, his biggest exhibition to-date, at Avenue des Arts in Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday (11.16, 4-8 PM). His cast of motley, deconstructed, reinterpreted cartoon characters will star in thirteen original paintings on canvas and three large-format sculptures. The gallery will also release Gondek’s brand-new vinyl art toy, Anger Issues, bearing a resemblance to a rather popular duck as well as a large giclee print.
